In 226 days we are off, step by step from St. Jean. This week we prepared by making the reservations for St. Jean in an albergue that really sent me on my way last time and in Orisson in the middle of the Pyrenees…we probably won’t make any more reservations for places to stay yet.  Years ago, many made no reservations. It is getting to be popular and we are hearing things but we want to lean in to listening to what we need while there.  I keep fighting the impulse to make more and more reservations out of pure excitement.

Scout bought shoes and Ana and I need to so we can train.

We have started talking about long long long walks on the weekends to train.

And I keep waiting for the Camino to appear in my dreams…
