Today I began the General Conference journey with some orientation. I went to the convention center to get my bearings a bit and within an hour saw many friends from seminary days. I somehow ended up hanging out with a friend from the Congo and other translators. The languages were flying and I thought “I’m not in Mac right now for sure.”
Then on to Orientation with tour and all. Not too much to report but I am realizing lots of work to come. As we entered the plenary space and saw the set up for tomorrow, I realized that I am glad to be here. It is a small world! More to come….
